Pepco: Know Your Customer

"Know Your Customer" is an annual internal campaign that aims to help Pepco employees better understand the brand’s customers — their age, education, shopping habits, and preferences. As a lead designer on the project, my challenge was to turn the detailed survey data into something clear, engaging, and easy to connect with. After the approval of a visual language that merged minimal illustrated infographics with high quality, authentic client images, I carried on with developing an engaging script and a visually appealing storyboard for a 3-minute video that was the centrepiece of the campaign.

What: Art Direction, Screenplay & Storyboard development, Motion Design, Graphic Design

The project included over 10 custom illustrations and a detailed storyboard with more than 25 frames. Anna — a fictional Pepco customer — was the main narrator, who guided the viewer through the data in a friendly, relatable way. Through her story, we were able to bring customer data to life and give the campaign a more personal, human touch.

The characters from the animation also appeared across other campaign materials, helping to create visual consistency and boost audience engagement.
